Ramón Rodriguez was born in 1966 in Chaco Pampa, a tiny isolated pueblo in the state of Cochabamba, the heart of Bolivia. From the time he was three years old, he helped his family tend their animals and crops, developing a reverence for Pacha Mama, Mother Earth
Ramón and his family moved to Long Beach, California in April of 2002.

"I attempt to create dialog between extremes, seeking harmony rather than conflict. I explore dualities through paint, clay, stone, wood and musical notes. As a painter, sculptor and musician I interpret my world through these art forms. I attempt to make that which is complex and difficult to understand, understandable."
